Under the title of free health education for women, Medikal Rescue Association provides training to Syrian refugees about health care.
10,000 people have joined the training since its activation, 3,000 of them have obtained the certificate, 90% of them are women, and every month about 50-100 people join.
The training course includes first aid (fracture, bleeding, burns) in addition to women’s health (breast and cervical cancer, contraceptive methods … etc.) and is supervised by Turkish doctors, and interpretation is available.
The HERA application helps maintain maternal health records, call the ambulance with the push of a button, includes all the clinics and health centers near you, reminds women of important dates such as child vaccinations and medical reviews during pregnancy.
